1) Jesus Christ was both the son of man and the son of God. What this means is that I have the same access to the Father as Jesus did. I have the same flesh and the Spirit within my body. Jesus died for the sins of mankind. A man had to come take the fall for all mankind. However, I am not saved in his death but in his resurrection! Yes Jesus died for the ungodly that those who would partake of the Spirit of God would be saved my the resurrection of their own flesh and nature.
2) Faith comes by hearing the Ramah and Logos of God. Without Faith no man can please God. Faith births in a man purpose and direction. Without faith the works of God can not be completed.
3) Participation: If I do not partake of the Spirit and enter into the works of Christ then my Faith is futile and dried up.
These are the fundamental things that changed my walk with God. The things that I have built up in my heart require me to perform the works of Christ but without the Faith to do so which leaves me empty and dead. One must allow the Father tear down the things that have been established by our own hands. I know this that the heart of me, my will, is wicked above all else. One must have Faith birth in your heart by the Father so that the motive and will are his and not your own. Let us all be encourage that while we were still sinners a man came, 100% us with all of our desires and 100% God, to bring an example. He brought the new man, the man that was able to be raised from the dead by the Spirit of God. That same Spirit lives in the Sons of Obedience, the Sons of the Living God. Romans 8:1-16. Those that are led by the Spirit of God are the Sons of God.
Our sanctifications is to lay hold of the Spirit Daily. His Spirit is available to all man because of the Cross but he only gives help to the Sons of Abraham, Sons of Faith. Faith is only birth by the voice of the living God. Faith is a mystery and you can not force the mind, which is in enmity with God, to have Faith.
As Brad Parish said, Faith is the beginning, you must start with hearing the voice of God that births Faith in your heart without that a man can not please God. As Paul Carlton said, we were always told that you just had to have faith or to believe it would happen. We spent all our time forcing ourselves to believe what our heart could not testify to. Only to find out that we had to have Faith birth in our hearts by God and then our hearts testified that we were Sons of God.
Thank you Father for showing these things to the humble. That the glory may not be of us but of the Wisdom and Power of the Living God.
